Notes on my transcription of 131st Field Regiment War Diaries 1939-1945.
Whilst the Regiment was part of 46(H) Infantry Brigade the diaries were hand written, but upon transfer on 10th July 1943 to 227(H) Infantry Brigade the diaries were type written. The diaries until July 1943 were sometimes very difficult to read. Where it has been impossible to decipher a word, these have been marked with xxxxx.
