Gunner, EDWARD WILLIAMS, 1079740. 131 Field Regt. Royal Artillery. 1st July 1944. Age 33. Son of Edward and Lucy Williams, of Wrexham, Denbighshire; husband of Violet Williams, of Wrexham. VIII.D.13.
The War Diary shows no entry for 1st July, but on 30th June the 319 Battery O.P. Party was killed near Grainville, Edward Williams may have been one of those.
